Two today… I couldn’t decide..

Once a year, for two nights, they open the Acropolis at night during the full moon in August. It also happened to be a partial eclipse. What we didn’t know is that they don’t allow tripods into any archaeological sites so the photos of the Acropolis and the moon didn’t turn out that well. George tried to be a tripod while I set the camera on his head — but no luck. . . and no rocks or walls in the right spot to use as something steady.

But I did come away with these two.

  1. Hmmm – what’s more spectacular? Mt. Hood or the Acropolis? You’re a lucky girl!
